Seems that my wife likes to ride the brakes, and she found a way to chew through the brake pads in 20,000 miles.

According the the dealer, the inner pads are just beginning to cut into the rotor. They said it's not bad, but the rotors need to be cut.

So anyway... They want $250 to do a front brake job. I told them to fuck off.

A local shop will turn rotors for $10 each. The problem is, I gotta take them off and get them to them.

Is this an easy job to do??? I can't imagine it's difficult.

 

Not hard at all. I've never done it before and it took me about 20 min (with the help of the Helms Manual)
