How fast are those SRT4 Neons?

some kid in one got next to me at a light today and started revving but I didn't run with him considering I probably would have gotten raped.

EDIT: nevermind I just checked and they are running 14 flat on street tires

yeah i don't expect people to run 14's on the street. You'd have to hit a perfect launch. Like Darrinb said i'm sure most will run 14.5 or so.

it's funny i remember a year ago there was a comment in racing stories basically raising the BS flag to some race claim...and said to the effect..." next thing you know there'll be the "i just smoked a 350Z thread" as if it were so impossible then awhile back there was some talk of the almighty SRT4 oh ya dont forget the WRX...now it's the STi and the EVO .im seeing mid 13's out of those super cars....you guys have to realize (and im not speaking to any one individual) it's not PEAK HP it's the curve ,obviously weight and gearing too ,but the power curve makes soo much difference...why a cl-S with tires ,headers and intake can beat a mustang GT with 290 lb.ft of torque is...the curve falls off real quick and it's short to begin with

I talked to the owner and witnessed a yellow SRT-4 run a 14.0@100mph at Indianapolis Raceway Park about three weeks ago.

He expressed to me he was running a plus three lbs of boost with everything else being stock from the factory.

I didn't get a chance to see his short times though

14.0 at 102 mph was what C&D ran. There was also a 14.2 at 102 mph for another mag (I think Sport Compact Car). This thing makes almost 260HP at the carnk in reality.

C&D sucks ass. 90% of the people can't drive, let alone launch off a tree. You're not gonna get some average kid running 14 flats.
