How Far Can One Go Without Voiding the Warranty/Terminating Lease?

My good friend has a San Marino Red 2001 Acura 3.2CL Type S. It's currently under a 3-year lease, and he has probably another year and a half to go. What sort of modifications could he do the car (such as lowering springs, etc.) without making the folks at Acura PO'd?

Since mine is leased, I asked.
I was told tires are ok.
Tint is ok if it's in good shape when the lease ends.
Same with the wood kit.
Now performance/suspension mods are another story. You would not want to give back the car with these expensive mods on. So if you do anything like headers, exahust, CAI, pullies, springs, etc. Make sure you keep all the orginal parts so they can be put back on at lease end. the peoblem with all this is it expensive to install this stuff, then have to pay to uninstall them. Everything I have done I can uninstall myself.

Your friend can modify the car any which way he likes; just as long as he takes off all the goodies prior to returning the leasing company's vehicle...

if he returns it...sometimes the dealer will buy it from the lease company w/o it ever going back to them...or he may buy it himself in most states....but he can indeed mod it in any way he see's fit but may have to pay if it lessen the value of the car or things like nitrous for example will void you power train warranty...some dealers may allow the SC from comptech...springs /sways/cold air intake/headers/ all no prob...with my sig,ive had a tranny replaced ...not a word was mentioned about my parts
