How does $300 for OBX headers sound?!
Guys, I have a friend that I never thought to ask that runs a business.
www.importpartsplus.com
He is a authorized OBX dealer. And he told me last night he sells the 98+ ACCORD V6 headers which is our headers for $300 + $15~ for shipping.
He is contacting OBX to see if he can get even a more price cut for a group deal for everyone.
I never had good luck with ssautochrome in them responding to emails. When they did, they were just out right rude.
This guy is a good guy and will take care of us.
I will post more info as I get it. He suppose to let me know this morning.
Also on the brakes from Fastbrakes.com.
Test Fitment has been done. The 12.2" rotor with 4 piston billet caliper and lines, and pads fit behind the stock CL-S wheels! He had to use different parts which drove the price over $1k, but its still alot cheaper than brembo and it fits our stock wheels!
I will have more info on this later once I get it completed.

trying to get a lil V-I
Did he do the test fitment on your car? If so did you get a chance to try them out. I'm very unhappy with the stopping power of our brakes. I know most of the slack in brake performance is due to the mass of the car, but any bit would help. Brakes are definitely next on my mod list...
also could you be more specific on the "different" parts he used?
Thanks,
chikai

I just know these brakes will blwo our stocks away easily. The rotors are 12.2" and 1.25" thick. It will take about 15 lb off each wheel of weight as well.
Not on my car, but he has alot of connections as well and was able to get the stuff. I requested a picture. So we might be able to get a pic of it soon but can't gurantee it.

Re: Re: How does $300 for OBX headers sound?!
Yep. I am verifying with him if those are the same headers.
BTW, OBX never raised the price. SSAUTOCHROME lied about that and wanted to get more money because of the demand obviously.
I will keep everyone posted.

But my guy will sell them to you guys for $340 shipped!
How does that sound?! If so, keep an eye out for a new post either late tonight or tomorrow for the GD. He is adding it to his site so everyone can sign up.

"I don’t really care about a few TENTHS of a second.
I’d rather be in my CL-S for the drive home when the race was over." - ShawnS talking about the new Accord's stock performance.
Of course if you're ShawnS, you paid $1000 for a few tenths of a second from Comptech.
That contradiction makes my brain hurt.

For the record and IMO, the OBX headers provide a highly noticeable gain in performance over stock and for the money, cannot be beat. BUT, do NOT buy the ceramic headers as they will be sheddin' the coating w/in 1 day of normal operation (25 miles for me)

Their finish work on those CC headers must be really crude and unsuitable.
Otherwise, its good they are holding up performance-wise.
