How do you remove...................?

The front grill chrome parts? The stripping and Acura symbol? I want to get rid of the bling-bling, but taking it off is being a PITA.
Thanks guys.

How are you de-chroming the plastic trim?
My CL is black and I'd love to take off the chrome trim from around the windows to give a more monotone appearance. I've seen some cover the stuff in vinyl but that's a little too ghetto of a fix for me.

I will post pics off course as soon as i get my stupid MMC reader to work.
As for the chrome, just black plastic. if you get deep enough.
I wet sanded with 400 grit sand paper.
Then 600 grit.
Washed with soap and water.
Dried.
Cleaned with alcohol
Dry of any leftover dust
Applied 3 coats of grey primer
Dry
3 Coats of Flat Black
Dry
2 Coats of Clear Coat
Dry
1 Final coat of clear coat
As of right now, I'm letting it dry for about 48 hours before I touch it. The clear coat really needs to cure.
All coats of primer, paint, and clear coat are done in very thin successions to avoid "thickness." (no, not your woman!)
