how do you do this?

that looks awesome, and i was wondering if the dealer could get it for you....or what. or since the cl wheel is pretty flat, could you just stick on an aftermarket emblem? what do you think?

Once the 2002 TL comes out next month... you can just buy the steering wheel cover and replace yours.

Shouldnt really cost much. Just a piece of vinyl.

hey yeah, that emblem in the center of the steering wheel looks nice. i don't like the guages too much though. a steering emblem like that would be great.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. I remember it looking something like that?? Would you lose your audio control if you switched wheels?

I guess if you think you'll forget what it is that you're driving, and the understated elegance of your existing wheel doesn't shout ACURA loud enough at you, this could be a worthwhile accessory.

If mine came that way, with an annoying, shiny, plastic logo in my face, I'd be working on a way to get rid of it.

I like our existing guages better, too.

I think acura is going to do this on all upcoming models. The blue Type S at SEMA had it, the new tl type S has it and the RSX has it. Its a given that they'll add it to the new type S.
I know lexus has a L embluem on the steering wheel and I think it looked nice. You just have to see it in person.

Comptech Headers, Comptech Sways, Eurolite Xenon Crystal high beams.
AEM CAI once they decide to make the dame thing.
235/40/17's or 225/45/17's once I found out which one works for me.

I've seen the Sema CL-S and the TL-S in person, and I think the new steering wheel is a mistake.

It's not a crime; I just think it makes the car look cheaper, and ergonomically, I think shiny bits in the cockbit are unnecessarily distracting.

Gotta agree with WaterRabbit...i think it would get annoying pretty quickly. IMHO it almost makes the car look cheap and low-class. I can see it on an Integra or RSX, but not a CL or TL. I'd stick with the stock '01 steering wheel look.

If the emblem was just chrome it would look nice...kinda like on the Benz.

Chrome would be nice, but would annoy the HELL out of anyone!!!!

How about this: Anti Glare technology on all new emblums on steering wheels. Gives something for acura to compete with lexus on.
