the inside of the tip is all black with carbon and the otuside is all dirty. what is the best way to restore the high shine? thanks!

 

try soap and water...then polish it with chrome or silver polish at your local parts store...Shyne

 

This is how it's done. First you need to wash your car including mufflers ( top and back too). You must not be afraid, get on your knees and scrub that shit. Then you need a good wax and grease remover, I use PPG DX-330, available at auto paint stores and it works very well. Apply with a soft terry cloth towel then buff to a shine after all the shiz is dissolved. Put a coat of wax on those bad boys when your done and they'll clean up easier next time. You will shit yourself when you see the results, sort of like poor bastard following you.
