Sometimes when I hit my brakes and come to abrupt stop, my car shudders like its going to die.........It happened twice today. Do you guys have any Ideas???

 

yup, your rotors are warped. take it to the dealer, tell them what happens, and they should fix it under warranty

i've had my front rotors machined AND front pads replaced FREE under warranty twice now. i'm at 19k

 

I think he means his car feels like its going to turn off...Could be the gas??

What octane are you using?

 

Mine does the same thing. Its the feeling you get in a stick when you leave the clutch out too long as you come to a stop. To me, it feels like the torque converter isn't unlocking quickly enough or the AC compressor clutch is doing something funny.

 

I always us 93 octane. What Mdaniel says is exactly what happens. This is a 30K car, it shouldn't do stupid shit like this.
