How Clean Do You Keep Your CT Mufflers?
How Clean Do You Keep Your CT Mufflers?
When I wash my car each week, I use "Blue Magic" to polish the stainless steel. They're so shiney you could shave in them. It is a pain in the ass to get under the car to do, but the results show. I'm extremely fussy about my car to the point where all the rubber hoses in the engine are "Armor Alled." Yeah, I know I'm weird, but I sure have a clean car.
no i agree...i don't use chrome polish on my stock tips, but after getting them rechromed when i had the ride detailed, i made sure they were cleaned religiously...esp now after getting headers...i might as well get some chrome polish anyway

i throw down a piece of cardboard so my knees dont get all wet, then i wash the mufflers with the mit.
after i pull in the garage, i'll dry the car and the exhaust. to get all the remaining road tar etc. off, i use ppg dx 330 wax and grease remover. just put some on a soft cloth and wipe away. finally, i'll apply a coat of wax and polish to a mirror shine.
