So, to get out of a speeding ticket, I have to travel back in time and steal a honda ... That might be feasable in New Zealand, but here in the States, we just don't drive pre-80' hondas (you know, the old ones with the chain drive).

Yeah the cop simply wrote the wrong date, it looks like after writing down the violation's birthdate, he simply repeated that date in the date of the violation column. But he did sign with the date correctly. Stupid letter like that won't work in the US.
