Well just came back from Westhimer, its like a weekend hang out street... anwyay, encounter several race and a ticket

First a Volvo 850 T-5R, white, a German driving it... We both pulling from 30+ till 80.... At first, we were head to head in 1st, then when i got to 2nd, he still next to me... But when the 2nd about 5000rpm, I starting to pull away, till 3rd gear, I was like a car ahead of him.. After the run, he is cool, he said, my car do have more power than he does, so he doesnt want to race again, not he scare, but no point. Cool guy!

Second run was a 2001 Maxima SE 5spd... Off the line, I had a good launch, and i jumped for 2 cars, then I was leading from 1st-2nd-3rd @ 85mph... I was leading like a car... But starting at 85mph, he started to creep up, and by 95, he was next to me, and he pulled away at 105mph, once in 4th, game over.... Wow, Maxima sure have high end power.... his 3rd is really strong to pull from behind....

Third run, Supra NA 5spd... Same thing, off the line, i jumped, but then, this time, we both were head to head all the way till my end of 3rd, nice and closest race i ever had.....

But the down thing for tonight was, having a tikcket and stuff..... 3 violation.... 80mph in a 40mph zone, Participate in a car racing contest, no fron license plate(why TX still need this stupid law anwyay)..... But the good thing is, it's in Houston court, and this court is very easy on these, once i hire a lawyer and pay like $70, and it will get dismissed....

Not bad for a CL-P with only CAI and Pulleys and Denso.... at least i am happy..... i am looking foward to see whats the mystery mod is, with header, I am sure the Max will not pull away that easy at higher speed, but still 4th is game over for us!

man, I doubt that you are gonna pay 70 to get dismissed.
Ask ICCH forum, they know a lawyer who gets almost everything dismissed.
About the license plate, I guess it was just your luck. Dave-matthews CLS was stopped for the same thing (speeding, participate in speeding contest) but wasn't cited for no front plate. I'm getting paranoid about the damn front plate. Good luck with everything, bro.

I was out there as well...and got a little action from a Eclipse GS-T. We raced twice the first time I got the jump and beat him about 1 car to 70. The second race we were even until about 50, when I started to slightly pull and shut it down around 75. The guy was cool and said my car was fast for an auto, he said all he had was exhaust, anyway it was a good night. BTW sorry to hear about your ticket, for some strange reason I didn't see that many cops.

Guys, thanks for yall concern, but oh well, its a facts already.... the good thing is, i didnt got handcuffed and thrown into jail, i guess thats lucky?
