Hot day gauge reading!
I had the same temp today when I started my car after sitting in the parking lot at a store for approx. 30 minutes...
113 is the highest I've ever seen on mine.
Here in Texas we still have 3 more summer months - it could go higher!

113 is the highest our guages go. I was in Las vegas when it was 117 and our guages still showed 113. I think its TOO much of a coincidence if all of us saw 113 on the guage without it being limited there.

theres more than one sensor; I think one exterior and two interior sensors (middle near the windshield, and one below the steering column near the feet area). Consult the manual for it.

The sensor to the right of the steering wheel is an interior temperature monitor used for feedback to the automatic interior climate control.
The OAT (outside air temperature) sensor that is linked to the 113ºF that everyone is mentioning is outside (!) between the front bumper assembly and the A/C condensor. You can see it if you look (with the hood up) behind the front bumper, but in front of the engine compartment. It's just off center to the driver's side.

I notice it everytime I pull into my garage in the daytime. The various lights (like window power switch LED's) automatically adjust their brightness. The nav screen should do the same if you have it in auto mode.
How would you sense rain from inside the car? (our wipers have no rain/wetness sensor, but they do adjust in speed with the speed of the car)

Hi Fender4!! Pretty cool to have 2 CLS board members in our "little" town.
I bought at David McDavid in Plano, but get service at Vandergriff in Arlington - it's more convenient for my work and their service is awesome.
