I just heard about this website and decided to try it
I got a 2001 CL Type S with 260hp. Is it true that it can be increased to 300 or 360?
I would love some feedback. Thanks


2nd Q. I have a radar detector (Bel V940). Does anyone know how to connect the power source of it, to the rearview mirror?

Like a lot of cars out there...the high hp potential is there (in spades with the CL since you start at 260hp). It all comes down to $$$. How much do you want to spend? A comptech supercharger will boost you 50+hp right there...at the wheels. Of course it is $4500. There will be a comptech icebox intake that will be released (?) in Feb that will give you 10-15hp at some rpm...plus a lot more bolt ons. Comptech stuff doesn't void Acura warranty so that is a nice bonus.

As for everything else that you wrote, seems like you are the one who is assuming things. Just because I don't know about cars much, it does not mean anything. Four years of medical school, you kind of stop reading about anything but medicine until you finish it.

Hope you boys settle your dispute, yes it is possible and i have done it...im putting roughly 305 to wheels right now and probably 350 to the crank.....with the charger or the 3.5 upgrade i could potentially put 350 to the wheels, the only problem is whether or not the car can handle it...so far ive probably put $2500 worth of performance parts, with the 3.5 upgrade, it would total about $5000, which is about what you can look forward to....its possible

my daddy doesn't buy me anything. he hasn't been in my life since i was a child. i have raised my-self along side my mother who teaches me how to live on my own. i have been paying my OWN bills since i was in the 5th grade. when i was 10 years old, i was making $14 an hour working at a Alarm company splicing wires and installing alarm systems for many companies around the bay area. during and after high school, i was making 6 figures and i was still a teenager(by the way, 6 figures would be a "third" of what you'll be making per your comment above). i was doing alot of web design along with network maintenance on our server systems at work.
i buy alot of my own stuff, still, and as always, i pay all my own bills. sure my mother helps me out when i'm in a bad situation, but because of the way i've grown up, i have always dealt with my problems on my own. i am now 24 years old and my current car is my 4th car i've owned.

so, little man, why don't you use some of your money and go buy a reality check. think about what you have said in this entire thread which was mainly bragging about how smart you are, about what you do for a living, and how much money you will be making someday. take your foot out of your ass and promplty put it back into your mouth.

However you can spend $1500-1800 on Tires, Zex (nitrous), Headers, Intake. And get your CLS into the 13's. If you don't mind used equipment you might be able to save some $$ on Ebay. This setup would be 360+ hp at the crank depending on the size of the nitrous shot.

 

Let it go guys....Reza was probably just posting dumb sh!t since he had to defend against a stupid post that he made (back pedal back pedal!). The $$ post shows that he he is just a bit immature since he is making assumptions about people he doesn't know (you can make millions and still be an @ss). Malpractice insurance is paid by the hospital you work out or by the group practice.

average doc make 230000 when you include all tghe benefits, Family docs make 140K, orthopedic surgeons make 350K, neurosurgeons make 850K, anesthesiologists, radiologyst make 300k, Pediatrics make 150.

so you see the income are not bad, we just like to bitch about it so it does not go any lower.

No my daddy did not pay for my education , I did, by very very hard work, and no one will take that away from me.


People like to justify that it is not a big deal to be a physician, because you will be in dept, and salaries are low. BS, go talk to some real docs , not entry level FP's.
