i think the VIS hood is ~ $500.
i usually put it on before i go to the drag strip, but i've had it on for over a month now. people really seem to like it.

this is the only real custom cl-s hood i know about. he had this done to fit over his direct port nitrous system.

look at all luxury cars and models. 99% of them have beefed up engines, but how many of them have hood scoops. maybe like the aston marton and a few others, but u see the m3, all the mercedes classes that have v8-v12 engines with no hoodscoops. do i think a s/c is a nice add on to our cars? yes i do, as long as it doesnt sound like a frickin ls1 or ls2.come on jim think about it, cause i know ur referring to my thread i posted, speed can always be added to a luxury vehicle and most of the time be ok, but how many luxury models do u see with hood scoops.
all in all i think it takes away from the car, especially ours.
but its his car so he can do what he likes.

is it just me or does that custom hood look like the duct is not centered on the hood?? who ever did it they did an awsome job looks really clean. i know there where many hours spent on that hood.( i know im a paint body guy) you can pretty much take any universival hood scoop and cut ur hood and fiberglass and body putty one on.
