Eh, DOHC, SOHC, it's more about the FI for me. I've just never thought of a SC'd Yahama engine. Just sounds weird, doesn't it? A supercharged Yamaha engine in a FWD Ford sedan.

Yeah I know but it's no different than an SRT4. Once you drive it, it's not a Neon, so once you drive the SHO it doesn't feel like a Taurus. The SHO had leather, Platinum BOSE sound, dual exhaust, CD/Cassette player and everyone had the butterflys in their engine bay powdercoated different colors like you saw in the pic. It was a pretty cool car

Yeah, I guess you're right, though I did test drive a SRT-4 before I bought my EP3 a few years ago and it was still a Neon to me because I still couldn't fit in it being 6'3". My buddy has one now and even on the passenger side I feel like I'm in a go-cart. Quick as hell though of course. I'm not knocking the SHO, I'm just saying, body-shape-wise it's still a Taurus, just like the SRT-4 is still a Neon on the outside. Dual exhaust doesn't make it look like a completly different car to me.

Here is the link to compare the SHO

A few years back I owned a low mile auto equipped 1993 SHO. I knew a guy at work who had the same car even the same color and I used to dust him with ease so I know my beamer wannabe was quick.

The best I ever ran was a 15.1 in the quarter and my 01 CLS auto runs 14.7's with ease. There is no way the SHO in the video was stock

My 93 low mile SHO needed a head gasket and I was quoted $2500 for a replacement. I replaced the car instead with a Maxima.
