Well I just put brand new Bridgestone RE730's on my CLS so I busted out the old G_TECH. Anyway with about 75 miles on the new tires (WHICH ARE SOOOOO SWEET BY THE WAY) I went on the local flat roadto test out the car. Well after leveling the gtech and waiting for a good chance, i hit it. I timed just 0-60 and I ran a 6.14!!!!!! That is at 40 degrees, new tires, and AEM CAI.

Damn I am so surprised. It felt super fast off the line b/c of the new rubber. little bit of wheel hop but then vtech hit and I was off. Anyway just thought I would share. I know the GTECH could be a little off but I have had great success with it 0-60 and this road has no bumps at all.

For anyone trying to decide if new tires really out performe the stocks ones......get out your wallet and head to the store. They are 2 different cars with good rubber vs. stock crapers.

Lateral grip is like a dream. They reduced body roll like i couldn't believe. I am in love again hahah

Go lower 235/40/18 and you lateral grip would be amazing!

yeah I almost went with 235 45 17's but I got scared of rubbing with stock rims.
