Is this the hole in the firewall....?
Are you talking about the hole to pass a powerwire through for the stereo? If So then that is not the hole that I used. I actually used a hole that has other wires coming through to the passanger compartment.
That hole, is on the Drivers side, far right and kinda up high. There you should see a bunch of wires going through a hole that has a rubber gromet. In order to pass anything through the hole you wil have to punch through gromet.
Might a suggest a pen with the wire taped to the end. That is how I got my 4 gauge through.

Yes, to pass power wires from the inside to the battery under the hood. Is this the rubber grommet? Mine doesn't have any wires going thru it presently.

ken, remeber the hole i showed you when i was down in KC?
here is how you find it. inside the drivers side, above the gas pedal. you should see the insulation a bit loose. pull it out, shove a screw driver thru. there is rubber covering the hole on the engine side. you can see it by standing in front of you car -- put your head down close to the grill, and look above the strut bar. you will see it, close to the top of the bay, just right of center.

Confirmed. The previous two pics are the pics of the hole thru the firewall. As was said, inside the passenger compartment, remove this grommet and poke a screwdriver thru, you'll see it on the other side in the engine compartment. Thanks guys.

If you want to run a wire from the main battery under the hood to the inside of the vehicle, use this hole in the firewall. It's the easiest and cleanest way to go from inside the cabin to outside the cabin.
