Highest perch setting on TEINS?
Hi, for those with teins, what's the highest ride height setting possible? same as stock or maybe comptech drop? or higher?
Thinking about switchin to teins, need something high in the winter and super low in the summer.

Just had mine installed on friday. I bought the super street coilovers. They are great. Right out of the box tein has them set for 2.1 inches in front and 1.7 for the rear for our cars. They have the ability for up to 3.5 all around (not recomended though). I love them, I can't stop driving the car since I got them on. I bought these for the same reason. I use this as an all year round vehicle and need to raise back up in winter. Good luck hope you enjoy!

Louie, when you say "out of the box" the Teins are 2.1/1.7 are you saying that w/o any collar adjustment...your car is by default dropped 2.1in/1.7in?
How do you know this? Did you measure before/after? I ask this because I noticed my car was "Dropped" a little bit by just the install of Teins w/o adjusting (maybe not like 2 inches, but probably an inch)

WHen I put my TEINs on I adjusted to a 1 inch drop all around.
In the rear I had about 1.5 inches more that I could have went up, while in the front I could go up about another .5 inches or so.
By the way I have a TL-s..
Get the TEINs you'll love em....

it lets you control the shock dampening from within the car.

Highest setting looks like stock.
Front collar has 3"of thread, the Lower spring seat and Seat lock is 1" so that leaves only 2" of adjustment.
Rear collar has 4" of thread, so there's 3" of adjustment.
Right now I can go 1 1/8 lower on the front and 1 1/2 lower on th rear and 13 7/8" from the center of the wheel to the top of the fender with a 1/2 tank of gas.
I don't know how they came up with "up to 3.5" drop" when there's a 2" adjustment on the front and 3" rear. OR "2.1 and1.7 default setting" when these are for an Accord that's alot lighter.
I read a lot of wrong info about these, I was afraid it was going to be too low at it's highest setting but they'er about in the middle of the adjustment and the car sits perfect. and I could still lower it more or raise it back to stock hieght.
Another concern was the spring rate. They may be stiffer for a stock Accord but feel like stock springs on a CL. You can adjust the damping force but if you're looking for performance, get the stiffer spring upgrade.
I'm very happy with the Teins. Rides comfort hasn't changed and handles better.
