It's not only about cost, but fuel efficiency, emmissions (and other government regulations) and insurance rates all play a role. Think about it.. if our car came stock with almost 300hp, the insurance would be higher. It would also probably scare away more conservative TL/CL buyers which make up 95% of their demographics (probably more so on the TL, but since they share so much stuff on the Type-S, it affects the CL too). Now, our cars come with 260hp, and if we want to put in the headers ourselves, we can do it for $1200 and as far as the government is concerned, our MPG is the same. As far as insurance is concerned, we have 260hp. There's a lot more involved then just cost....

I think the best way would be for them to make it a factory option when you order the car.
If they didn’t have to go through the trouble of the stock parts I bet they could make it a 500-dollar “adder” and still make money.

It sucks to have to pay for both LABOR and the stock parts that will most likely end up in the trash or sitting in the garage.

People who don’t want them could just save the 500-bucks.
But I guess the downside for them is that’s another part to stock and have available on the assembly line.

Yeah I would love to have such oprtions...

Factory ordered options:
1) All Comptech Parts
2) Brembo Kits
3) UHP tires and wheels ( 17" or 18").

Will Park Ave let you finance a new CL-S with all the Comptech parts included in the loan?

Yeah it's more expensive than OEM, but it might be fairly hassle free.

if you put the Comptech stuff on at the time of the purchase it should be included in the purchase price... just like the other dealer installed options are.....
