Just save your money and get the icebox, the highflow cat should give you some better flow for sure

Ask Gnuts... he has one and it just threw 2 C.E.L's and its only a year old...when i got exhaust done on my old car...i replaced the Downpipe, cat, and muffler and the guy installing it said OEM cat is always best in the end then a highflow or aftermarket.

Just get the ice box for now serous.

so from what i hear...just an OEM cat would be best ? also i have done some reading on Under Drive pulleys and they seem to be more of a pain in ass then they are worth. will it affect my ability to run a system and what not?

obviously u havent read up on the pulleys enough. underdrive is great. now how big of a system? and the pulley isnt a pita. ppl over exaggerate on how hard it is to install bc they cant take the nut off. the cranking method works like a charm.

u can get a high flow cat and not worry about any cel's. shit i got a straight pipe and no cel for o2 sensor

My code went away, and i don't have a high flow cat. It's Just a bigger cat to go with my exhaust (2.5"). O2 bung is there and hooked up like normal.

^ there's lots of info on the underdrive pulley, do a search. You call still run a system up to a certain wattage.

I run different systems, either for dd or for comp. i have 2JL 15's i run for competition or my 1 8" DD i run for drivn around. i just heard alot of down talk on them.
but if yall say they are a +1 then i might invest.

the reason im lookn into power upgrades is to beat my friends 350Z which dyno'd at 293hp. so he walks me everytime we go out and dick around on the streets and track. so i want to just do this then pow surprise who just walked who!

If it doesnt sell before then sure.

And yes, the 09 manifold is better then ours. Its lighter, larger ports, and no casting marks.

see the MDX spacer wouldn't clear the hood for me. ESPECIALLY with the P2R Plenums. they already stick out far.

but yea. my manifold is ice cold as long as i'm not in a traffic jam on a hot day for a LONG time. then it will rise in temp.

Just did my timing belt and messed with that bolt for an hour until I just did the cranking method, indeed a charm! Tightened it back as much as I could with a bit of loctite and drove directly to my mechanic who hit it with an air gun.
