HID questions?

Im curious on how many K's the stock HID's are on the 3.2cl's and if u can swap the bulbs out with higher K's with out having to change the whole setup like ballast, etc, or just flat out having to buy a HID kit.

First off, this topic has been discussed many many many many and many times on here. Try a search because all your questions can be asked very easily via the search.

2nd: yes you can change the bulbs without having to change the setup, BUT the stock bulbs are the proper Kelvin rating for brightness. Any higher and you lose light output. Our bulbs are rated at 4300K which is very very close to standard daylight. any higher and the light color will change to a bluish/purplish color and you start to lose light output which is no use and frankly a waste of money IMO.

i was expecting the whole search discussion to pop up but its a waste of time to use it when u have 20 pages of useless things popping up and half of them are about buying hid kits for most of the non hid cars out there and not answering the simple question at hand!

You just gotta search for the right terms. Look at this search done for "HID Bulb Kelvin" and look at the top 10 results. a few aren't related, but a majority are.

The search tool sometimes is only as good as the searcher.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but looking at your post count on this thread you are a :noob:

just trying to make this board a little more useful for ya
