HID Lights

On my way to South Beach last night, I passed a CL that didn't have HIDs...
Do you guys know if they made any CLs without HIDs?...

Both of their HIDs probably burned out and they just replaced them with regular halogen bulbs.

Does that require any mods?

it does require mods...and very extensive electrical and housing mods at that. our headlights are designed to fit a large based D2R HID bulb not to mention the wiring is for lower wattage cause HID's draw less...are you sure your eyes werent playing tricks on you? or that it wasnt a 1st gen? possibly coulda been daytime running lights and the car was from canada

nope... it was an '01 CL (US) ... Although the car looked abused; I thought it might have been a quick-cheap fix by some back woods mechanic.
