Hi! Just joined

I just joined after reading postings for the last two weeks. Lots of great info! I have a Silver 2001 CL S that's stock. I need to do something about that. I have my eye on some Moda R6 wheels. I'll keep the stock tires. I'm also thinking about Comptech springs Koni yellows and maybe Comptech sway bars. Does anybody know much about Diablo Autosport in N.Cal? I'm trying to deccide which order to do things. To do springs you have to take off the shocks. Should I do this, then sway bars or all together. I want a little tighter handeling but I like the smooth ride. I'm going to try and make the meeting in Santa Clara next week. Thanks for your help.

Well then, I would get yourself a set of Comptech springs, Koni or Tokcio shocks (they are both pretty good) and the sways and do all the suspension crap at once. Then, do the wheels AND TIRES. Get new tires quickly. Thats my $.05.

WELCOME!!!!!! HEHEHEHE another Bay Area fool!!! Well I really hope you make the Bay Area meet this Saturday!! It looks like it will be a really good turnout!!! You should think about going up to Sacto too!!! We do a lot of driving up in the foothills and boy it is FUN!!!! If you want to know more about Diablo, ask TypeSDragoon, I think he knows the guys there!! He should be at the meet on Saturday. I have all my Honda and Acura stuff done at a place in Hayward called Honda/Acura Motorsport. They did all the work on my 96 Civic and they did the shocks and springs on my CL-S. Hey Sli, welcome. If you can afford it, do the sways, springs and struts. Combined they make it a totally different car with not much tradeoff in ride in my opinion. Tires also. By the way, come on over to Sacto. with Aztecrol sometime and DRIVE with us, you won't be sorry.
