Do you know when the Lexus LX replacement is due out? I've read in several internet sites that, unlike the current model which is based on the Land Cruiser, it’s supposedly going to be based on Toyota's other full-size SUV, the Sequoia, and will have a different designation like VX500 or something of that sort. I need to purchase a full-size, 8 passengers SUV by September (no later) and have looked at all the current SUVs under this criteria minus domestics because of lost faith, and haven’t been able to bring myself together to take that special "victory lap" yet. I appreciate any info you have or what you can gather for me as the rumors that are consistently flying between dealerships that I’m currently working with are of no help to me; some have said that the third-row seating will be automatic and will lie flush with the floor while others have told me that it’ll be a manual fold-away design like the current LX and GX models.

SilverBulletCLS I am sorry but I dont know much about the next gen. LX. Only that it's due to be replaced very soon and yes, it will be based on the Sequoia which is not a bad thing.
