Hey... another foglight bulb replacement option.

These look pretty cool, and they would fit our road lamps no?

Yes, yes :0

Definetly post the outcome of these Soopa, and anyone else that is willing to try. The Polarg's are coming pretty close to melting my housing, and I would assume since these are LED's their life expectancy is much, much, much longer.

Now only if we can get the correct light output out of these.

didnt think so...just asking...bet it sounds good. how long is it going to take for the bulbs to come in and how much were they? Do you have to rewire for them to fit or do they just plug right in?

Good find, Soopa! It's been awhile since I prowled Autodynamics web site. They come up with some of the craziest schtuff.

Anyway, I ordered a set of white, and amber. I'll keep you all posted.

Jim

PS - Any insight on a nice set of red/clear tails for our cars? I really like the new TL tails. Just wondering.

hey guys...

i was browsing the site and found that OptiBlue has Xenon's for the high beams (at least it SEEMS they do)...$32 a pair as opposed to like $90 a pair with the Solaris...if it's true these can b used for high beams, can u imagine the amount of light shining down a dark road?? we're talking rack of flood lights!! now THAT'S what im talkin about!!

here's the link BTW so u can see them...

LEDs for Road Lamp review

first I had to break the Polarg to get them out, i think they grew.

Put in the LEDs, I had to bend the pins to make them touch the connector leads.

So they fit good, and they worked.

The light is dim, I compair it to the stock one, except the color is different, I purchesed the white ones, and they look too blueish.

Anyways, gtg.

I had a sitty camera, but i'll get good pics later.

Soopa,
I just put an order in for these things on Mon.

Are they really bad compared to the M6's? Let me know how they do tonight.

I ordered two sets of whites also. If they're not as bright then I'll use them for the doors, truck, and map. Don't forget they're 10 watts compared to 18 with the Prolargs.

they are not bright at all, but they do match the HIDs, they are just as dim as the stock ones. nothing comparing to the Polargs.
