Helped an IS get a ticket last night :)

Was on the freeway and this asshole cuts me off cause the dood in front of me moved one lane over into his lane. It was on Anyhow, I dropped it into 3rd cause the computer wouldn't let me go into 2nd. He got a jump on me so I was playing catchup. The gap closed while I was in 3rd then I had to shift into 4th, we're prolly going about 110 and I'm prolly 2 ft from his bumper and at this point and the CL no longer pulled After a lil while, this was no longer fun as it wasn't worth getting a ticket over; I pulled over one lane and dropped back down to a respectable 80. About 15-20 secs later I see CHP lights flashing in front of me and guess who's getting tailgaited by the officer? HEHEH! As they are exiting off the freeway, I pulled alongside the IS to pass him up and gave him one nice big smirk :-D

lol I think you're missing the point. I don't really give a rats ass if my car is faster or if his was faster; , in fact I think if u REREAD my statement I never implied if his car was slow or if mine was fast. Don't try to change the subject as this was not a CL vs. IS300 case. It was me vs. anohter driver. I don't respect wha he did by cutting me off like that since he could have went right instead of left. I feel he got what he deserved for not looking out for cops in front of him as AFTER I backed off, he continued to go 110mph down the road. That is his OWN fault. Just because YOU own a Lexus, you should have no right or disposition that I am beating on your "brand" of car simply because I own an Acura. Stop trying to insinuate that us Acura owners think we are the shit and get in touch with reality.

My point is we all like to race, and we do do it ILLEGALLY most of the time, if it is in a straight line then let the winner be the winner but if one gets pulled over, TO ME that is just unlucky and I KNOW he/she is gonna have some problems down the road, nothing to about.

Driving in the twisties is ABOUT THE DRIVER, driving in a straight line is MOSTLY about the car, especially an automatic.

I see where u are getting but I feel ur missing what I was trying to say. I wasn't comparing anyone's drivings skills or cars. I just explained the situation and I tell u what, if I had been the one with the ticket, I wouldn't want anyone to feel bad for me. Its a CONSEQUENCE OF DOING STOOPID SHIT and I know that. I need no pity, nor does the other driver. If the driver didn't anticipate the consequence of his or my actions, then thats a problem in itself. It goes with the territory.

Thats always a good feeling. When you see that other car getting pulled over, you wonder just who was looking out for you.

Have had that happen to me many a time.
