Exclamation HELP!!! Wheel shaking at 55!

I recently did front brakes on my CL. Now when I reach 55mph my wheels shake like crazy. They didn't do this before, and the wheels were recently balanced.

swap the wheels around and see if that changes anything. maybe you didn't seat the brakes on right as well when you did them

is it continuous at 55? or only some times?

if continuous, then u should rebalance them. may be a weight fell off.

I think I figured out the problem. I put on new pads and didn't turn the rotors (they are slightly warped). I think that is causing the shaking.

could be a bent rim. i ahd this problem and i didnt notice until i bought new rims and noticed one of my front rims was bent on the inside which was not noticable until you take it off and see a tiny bend which caused huge shaking

if it comes back, check the inside edge of your rims.

You did not resurface your rotors when you replaced your pads? Shame on you. This could explane the shaking. As you might know, the pad pretty much touches the surface of the rotors at all times. If you have an uneven surface(most likely on an old rot it could cause the shaking you have said.
