HELP!!! stock headlight fogging!!!

I never touched it and it has been fogging up bad! I don't know how long it has been doing it but i just noticed it last week.
What should I do? should I tell acura to fix it, and will they? Or should I try to clear it? Is it really that much work? If I do, I want to paint the housings San Marino Red should look cool. what do you guys think?

Take it back to the dealer and they will order you a new set under warranty.

Brought mine in this last weekend to do my 30K service, I told'em about my headlight. They took a look at it and ordered me a new one..... Under warranty.

Isn't that basically the same thing Pappy just said? I don't get the "I'm with stupid" sign...Was that directed toward Pappy?

Thanks guys, but I already talked to acura, and they will replace it and they even have it in stock! but I don't really want a new one I, I want a RED one who can do this for me and how much?
BTW, I found a few instuctions on clearing lights when I did a search. But damn, thats a lot of work! I photoshopped it in red and it looks alright, hopefully it will look better in person...or worse.

ask them if you can buy the broken headlights off of them. Then you can experiment w/ clearing and painting w/o having to worry about f-ing them up and/or driving around w/ no headlights.

I took the car in this morning and they had it changed in no time! but they said they have to send in the defective one in for warranty reasons. So I couldn't buy it but a new one only cost $250 at parts dept. probably cheaper on line. If anyone will sell me red '03 headlights PM me. Thanx!

OK, i am in the same boat! However, if i wanted 2003 headlights, would that be a problem to get instead of the 01's?

yeah if ur service advisor is cool. he should have no probalem taking care of it for u. and for those of u looking to get a free up grade. take a spray bottle and spray a mist into ur healight housing. instant warranty. Trust me i've been in this business for a long time. it will work. make sure u make friends with ur service advisor. bring them some grub or somethign out of the kindness of ur heart. and it will pay back a ten fold. lates
