Just picked up a play car (2001 CL w Nav), had it about a week and I love it!

I have searched around the threads and have found great info so I am already glad to be a part of this community!

I just installed a new head unit, and lost the steerling wheel controls for the stereo (Volume control). I saw a harness that hooks up to the steerling wheel column and has an adapter that is supposed to allow the controls to work to after market decks. My question is has anyone tried this? If so is it an easy install? I would say I am intermediate when it comes to car installs - I did my amp and satelite radio with no problems anyway :P

Any tips would be most appreciated - and I look forward to being apart of the Acura world

 

If it says on the deck you can and there is a wiring harness specificaly for this you can.

I have a better anwser for you post your question with the type of deck you have here and I bet he will be able to tell you if you can do it and how to do it
