I'm trying to hotwire a bel 980 radar detector.
Which wire is the hot wire? The black wire or the black with white stripe?

Thx. I already saw that info. However, I don't have a red wire. My cable has one solid black wire and the other is black with a white stripe. Which one is the positive "hot" wire?
