Help Please: Possibly trading the CLS

I have been having thoughts for some time now about trading in the CLS for a sports sedan/ SUV, I could use the room. I’m not trying to break the bank and it needs to be a cert. pre-owned vehicle. I’d only move laterally... TLS/ RDX/ CTS/ etc.

How much could I get privately and has anyone traded in there CLS lately? (2003 cls type s, 6 speed, ssm, mint, no mods, 71,XXX)

Thoughts on cert. pre-owned models out there worth checking out?

I’m just looking for some insight from fellow CLS owners/ car enthusiasts. Thoughts/ suggestions much appreciated… I’ve been a mess about this right now

That's why I ask, perfect condition... Looking for some history on private sales with the same miles/ 6spd.

why is VW R32 2004 manual is so much expensive ? i saw the price like 21k USD same as 2007 R32 auto why ?
bc there was only 5000 made and CL 6 speed is even more rare...

You'd be lucky to get $9K. May be worth more to an informed buyer looking for this car in a 6 speed, but that would be it.
Simple fact the car is not popular, & is not made, & suffers from auto trans recalls, which hurt the entire line even if the 6 speed is not part of it.

For some cars rarity can make it worth more, for the Cl it dsnt help it at all. i would also say you wont get over 10k for it. There is a reason Acura and alot of companies are deciding to stop making coupes. Ppl want 4 doors. Just look how good the new tl's sell. The CL is a great car but not many ppl's first choice.

Trade in value is shit. When I had your mileage on my (Thanksgiving 2008) I got an appraisal on my CL and it was $7100. Sell it privately. At this time you'll be lucky to get $6k on a trade in.

Recently traded

We traded my wife's 03 CLS auto non-nav with 96,xxx miles and got $6100 for it. Baby on the way in July so time to change to SUV. She liked the Acadia and we got a great deal on it. Happy so far.....

I bought mine about 6 months ago (03 6mt w/ 60k) for 10k from an Acura lot. It was a local trade-in so I can't imagine he got more than 7-8k for it max. Check the Black Market here to see if any are listed. This is where they would probably sell the best, since we really like them
