HELP - need response ASAP

I had a quote for 49.95 for the AEM CAI install. Now "they" want to charge me an extra $75 for the bypass valve. Does this sound right or am I getting RIPPED? Pls. respond ASAP - GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

You are getting ripped off. I paid 35 to get mine installed without bypass valve. Installing a bypass valve shouldnt cost more then 10-30 dollars.

well the bypass valve itself is at least $40. then they have to cut the intake pipe and put it in. so $35 labor on the cutting, that is a little much. but not too bad.

Thats a bit on the high side.... Should be about $40 for the BPV and anothe $15 since all they have to do is cut and deburr the pipe.... But it's not tooo bad if the price DOES include the BPV....

They said they would honor the 49.95. There was some kind of mix-up. I'll post my CAI review tomorrow. Thanks!
