Help with Interchangeable parts 2001 Acura CL
Hi everyone, I'm hoping to find out what years of this car are interchangeable for parts. We have a 2001 Acura CL 2 door. My son lost the only key to the car and I was hoping to either purchase the ignition harness off Ebay or use our local "Pick-N-Pull auto junk yard to pull the parts. I wanted to ask what years and if the TL Acura parts are interchangeable with our 2001 Acura CL 2 door. I'm not sure how to tell if ours is a "S model" either ?, I really appreciate any help. Sincerely, Haroldredmond.

Here's a recent post from an ASE mechanic who knows his stuff:
Just curious, what parts are you looking to interchange?
Easiest thing to do is to get and use the OEM Acura part # from a vendor website, then take that Acura part # and plug it into a Honda vendor website.
If the Acura p# comes up on the Honda vendor website search that makes it pretty much interchangeable.
i've interchanged nearly every part from the cls to 6th gen accord coupe. also swapped nearly everything from a sedan 6ga v6 to cls: subframes, suspension, brakes, engine, trans, gas tank, abs, axles, steering, interior, wiring, dash.
6th gen accords have drums on the dx model, 4cyl lx. the 4cyl ex, v6 lx and v6 ex have disc. 4cyls have small 10" rotors all around 4 lugs and 6cyl have 11" front and 5 lugs. cl has drums for parking brake and disc for driving. accord with discs uses a lever action on the rear disc caliper for parking brake long story short 00-02 6cyl ex coupe v6 has the closest build to cl.

Since you have a 2001 it must be an automatic transmission model, with that said, if it is a Type-S the (yellow) auto shift knob would
have that indicated in red.
The meter cluster would also be 'silver' faced (red arrow)

Awesome !!! Thank you very, very Much !!!. I'm looking for the whole ignition parts with keys. My son lost the only key to the car. I thought it might be cheaper to either buy it on Ebay or go to our local junk yard called Pick-N-Pull can pull the part off a like car.
