HELP, How to prep chrome peices

How do you prep the chrome peices on the front of our grille for paint
The peice that surrounds the grille, the A, and the wings that go out of the A.
What type of sandpaper and primer do you use and anything else

thanks

sand them Charlie... use 220 grit wet/dry... after all the material is gone use a higher grit paper until they are smooth... then you can rub them down with rubbing alcohol and let dry before you spray them..

the alcohol takes out any dirt or oils..

make sure you make some type of hangers for them so you do not touch them after you are done w/ the prep work.
