I have a ‘03 CL 3.2L Type-S and I’m in the middle of putting in a new Transmission, I am not much of an expert mechanic but this was the only option I could afford.
The leak is coming from one of the top main bolts that connects the Transmission, specifically the one right above the starter. I made a bad mistake and put the wrong size bolt in that thread decided to send it, when I took the bolt out it started spilling coolant so I didn’t what else to do and put the bolt back in and put some washers to compensate for the gap. The leak stopped so I thought I was fine.
Once I turned the car on it was leaking bad, the problem is I don’t know what exactly I punctured or broke past that bolt, I understand that this was 100% my fault but is there any way I can fix this? Any help is great appreciated Took a pic of my old trans, that’s where the bolt I was talking about goes. I don’t know what is past that bolt that I could’ve punctured/broke

Well obviously there is a coolant passage (cylinder head?) in that vicinity (yellow arrow), internal to the engine block, because the bolt boss is right under the front part of the water passage / thermostat housing (red arrow).
If you have an automotive borescope inspection camera to inspect that bolt boss, that would probably be best in making any damage determination.
Credit to @619rcr for the excellent picture below, even if it is of a CL-S6 J32A2 engine block (or J35A3? ).
Never encountered this particular situation here before; therefore, my best guess is either try to RTV the appropriate length bolt to try and seal or you may need a new 11000-PGE-810 engine block???
