I was trying to edject a cd and it quit working, It says ER EL or something like that and now i cant get my cds out or in and i cant listen to the cd player. Anything i can do besides taking it to Acura. Thanks

Same thing happen to me. I just turned off the car, then turned it back on, then held the EJECT button down for a few seconds. Worked nicely.

I'm scared to lose CD's to the crappy Bose HU too

just beat on the side of the console w/ your hand, it will come out.

Try doing this:
When you press the eject button and hear the "eject motors" moving sitck another CD into the slot and slip it over the edge of the one that's stuck and it should come out.

This method works for me everytime!!

ok it quit making noise but then i came back to my car a few hrs later and there was a cd sticking out it still isnt working right but i can listen to cds now

Can you have an aftermarket cd player with the navi system?

that happened to me many times, especially with bootleg CDS.

I just use a flat and long object, like side of the creditcard, or one of those little discount scan card supermarkets give you to put onto your keychain, stick into the slot, press the CD inside lightly, then it will eject out.

You Could Try Taking Out The Fuse For The Radio, Make Sure It's Not Burnt, Give It A Few Seconds, Put It Back In And Then See If It's Still Messing Up.
