Help AC on car drags, what da @%#$?

Help when I cut the AC on the car starts to shift funny & drag I figure it could be one of three things. Car is 01 CLS w/ 107k miles 2nd Tranny Replaced at 35k

1. Weak Battery -Still Original Battery, ( just moved from MI to dallas,TX and I heard that heat kills a battery) So maybe its the heat plus when it 90+ daily you run AC All Day. Oh and SRS light came on. If I need a new battery which is better sears diehard or Optima

2. Spark Plugs - Still original plugs, I know you need to change at 100k

3. Tranny - either need to replace fluids, clean filter, etc or tranny just going bad

1. Optima battery
2. Its better to change those spark plugs every 30K miles....so you just missed out on about 4 changes (this one is vital change them!!)
3. Tranny flush should also be at every 30K miles. Check your oil and oil filter and get a K&N air filter if you dont have one and if you do, you might need to clean it or even replace it.

I'd say it's charging/battery system related. The AC kicks in additional power loads. If you car is only acting up when it's on, could be a battery or alternator. Plugs wouldn't have anything to do with it, neither would the tranny. Altough you should change the plugs since it's past the interval. Also it's not needed to change plugs every 30K miles. You can check them for wear, but replacment is a waste unless the car is running REALLY bad, or they show signs of wear.
