Help!!

I was detailing my wife 03 Ody and while working on the windows/applying Rain-X I squirt some onto the paint on the sliding door (mistake, I missed the towel when squeezing) and by the time I got a towel with water the dam thing had evaporated. I read on the bottel not to splash on painted surfaces. Will this crap damage the paint on the car? I did wipe down with water and did reapply wax-cleaner and carnuba wax. Will this help? Or do I need something special because this product is made to repel water.

Pleas Help!!!
