my check engine light(the light to the right of the check oil light) has come on...also for a while my vsa light was on and it would not go off...any ideas what this may be? I also am due to have my tranny replaced in the next few days...the gear slipping has gotten worse and it cannot wait until next week...I am somewhat hesitant towards driving the car...ideas?

 

It is the tranny saying I am done!

 

yup...when my lights came on it wouldn't even shift. Two months later I had my new tranny.
