Help with 3.5 conversion

Hi to all, I am new to the CL board. I drive a TL and was in the CL meet in Toronto today. It was great!!! Anywayz, Here are my questions regarding to the 3.5 conversion. Oh and I did a search already but I need to know more about it!

1. My engine is stock right, now. Do I MUST have the header/CAI for the conversion. I don't want the car to be loud...

2. Anyone knows the complete list of parts that I need?

3. Do I need a special ECU or any computer chip?

4. Most importantly, how reliable is the 3.5 CL-S? How driable it is?

5. Is it worth it? I know people say that it only gives 20-25hp cuz it's got the header and CAI, but consider the fact that I got a TL-P, so that's gonna be close to 80hp of total HP gain for me...

I don't drag my car, but I do go to the track for lapping events and all that. I don't want to have too much power to a point that I can't control it and end up with excesive oversteer.

Thanks so much for all replys in advance.

Oh, and there WAS a Civic with 3.2 TL engine for real, I ain't kidding. The motor puts out 315hp. The guy sold his car and the new owner crashed that car few days later at Shannoville. So, I don't want my TL end up like that.

I think you'll have better luck getting some responses if you open a new thread with the subject, "3.5L Conversion for CLS".

Its human nature for most to look at only things which interest the general public and not just the 'select' few which might be able to help you.
