Help! :[
I just drove my 6spd CL today and the gas pedal does not feel smooth like it did before. It feels like theres like a click RIGHT before i press it hard and harder. I dont know how to explain it, but every time i press the gas pedal i feel something. It gets smoother after, but happens again when i shift. It only happens RIGHT when i press the gas pedal. Anyone had this before or know what im talking about... Im really sorry for not clearly explaining...

What you are experiencing is the throttle cable binding. It probably needs to be replaced. I have the same problem. I was thinking of replacing it, but never got around to do it. Guess I better order one.....

do you know how much $$$ that will cost and if any average mechanic can spot this problem out? and also if it is this case, without replacing it will it do more and more damage to other significant parts?

I have had problems later down the road when using carb cleaner. I konw that it will clean the throttle body but.... it eats up the seals. I have had to replace my IACV because of that.

Just describe the symptoms and tell him you think you need your Throttle Body plate cleaned with TB cleaner and your throttle cable and cable end/tb connector lubed. He will understand.

A couple of throttle body cleaners I have used in the past on family and friend's vehicles before are: Sea Foam-Deep Creep and Valvoline Syn Power- Carb, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner
