heated seats
anyone ever notice/wonder why the 03 cl-s 6 speeds have only one setting on the heated seats and all the other tl & cl's have high and low? does anyone know why this is, just curious

I had an 01 and an 03 CL.
The 03 stick shift cars only have a single on/off switch per side.
I guess it was a quick fix to get the E-Brake up in the center console and off the floor.
When they first come on, they start in HIGH and then they cycle into LOW.
Best of both worlds with a single switch. I don’t understand the fuss.

no fuss just wondering the reason why. seems like a logical answer

Depending on what you’re wearing, there’s usually a minute or two when it’s unbearably HOT.
Usually in the lower back area if you’re wearing a thin dress shirt like I do every day to work.
I wish it would switch to LOW faster.
I wonder if that’s adjustable.
Time to delve into the HELM manual and look at schematics.

mine doesn't have low mode. stays in high always. i'm told it's a simple single setting. just a cheaper solution since acura had to design new parts for the 6-speeds and the production volume was so low.
