Headlight Security!

Ok, I am currently working on getting us some new screws to install in place of our persent screws for our headlight. Can anyone tell me if the screws holding the headlights are metric or standard? And if so, what size are they?

I have a nice fat book here that's got hundreds of "Security" screws listed in it.

I'll be posting pics once I install them myself and get part numbers for all you guys.

Thanks

Best results found if you use the Rottweiler first, then follow up with the SPAS-12 if needed. =)

I doubt even the HELM book has the size listed.
I would say, take one out and take it into Home Depot and “test fit” a few nuts onto it to figure out the thread size.

Great idea, sounds like a group buy once you figure it out.

The unfortunate thing is that once the thief figures out what you did, he would probably just SMASH the lights and other parts of the car in disgust.

I disagree as a dog lover, I would personally use an M-16 .

No offense...
You live in Queens and you park your CL on the street? If I lived there I would have some cheap but nice car... like a Malibu or something... I sure wouldn't park a $30,000 car on the street in Queens! Are you nuts? Are you the same guy who got his lights stolen twice? Third time is a charm... the thieves are just laughing at you right now.

Know your facts he lives in a community and there are good and bad parts of Queens but you wouldn't know that.
