Headlight Question??

Headlight Question??
Just a silly question, but I have always been curious, and I don't know if it has been asked before but I was wondering on the headlights of our cars there are two lines going horizontal across the headlight unit and there is a small little square as well.
Do you guys know what these are for??..I know other cars have them as well...Just wondering??

The clear headlight lens does bend the light
somewhat as it passes through. The lines are are there because the lens is changing plane and direction. Part of the manufacturing process. Nothing to loose sleep over.

I had them installed by a speed shop...They charged me around $120.00. I don't think I would have the patience to do it by myself, but worth getting the sways.. much improved handling around turns with the sways..
I want better tires now..probably the Toyo's. people here say that this will also greatly improve handling for the car.
