Headlight & Foglight Re-Style

FYI - I have done a lot of research about headlights/fog lights and have a few questions that I did not come upon through my research.

I plan on replacing my factory HIDs with a 10000K
ORACLE 35w HID Kit and installing a custom Blue ORACLE Halo Kit. I am also going to remove the amber reflectors & install cool white LED turn signals. As for my fog lights, I am replacing them with a 12000K ORACLE 35w HID Kit. Here's the link for the HIDs: http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...S&Category=169 & here's the link for the Halo Kit: http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...S&Category=143.

Questions:
1) Do I need to modify my factory headlight housing/unit (like how you have to modify your fog light housing for HIDs) to accommodate for the 10000K HIDs or will my head light housing/unit be fine?
2) For my turn signals, I am looking for this exact color this CarDomain member used for his turn signals: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2758050
. I have tried contacting him, but no luck. Does anyone have any idea what kind these are?
3) There have been many people who have tried installing HIDs properly in their fog lights. They all seem to burn the housing or have some problems/issues. What is the best and most successful way of going about this? I haven't come upon a successful consensus from research. I guess I am going to have an even bigger problem since the HIDs I plan on using burn at 12000K.
4) According to Advanced Automotive Concepts, the street legal heat limit for HIDs is 10000K. Is this true? I live in Minnesota and can't find any confirmation on this.
5) Does anyone have 10000K and/or 12000K HIDs?

Thanks in advance for helping me with this issue! I appreciate any suggestions/opinions.

10000k is just the color temp. The heat is the same so no need to modify the headlight housing for heat. I only saw one road lamp housing that didn't suffer terribly from HID conversion. I think it was Mr.Fuffy. There's a thread he posted about making small vents in the housings to dissipate heat. Don't know about the diffuser. Seems like it wouldn't light up properly without it. You use to be able to buy a clear one but its no longer made.

Sounds like a good idea but I wonder if water could seep through the vents causing condensation to form in the housing. I hate that look when that happens.

Stock headlights are already equipped with HID technology.

10k, 6k, 8k, whatever are just measurements of Kelvin (temperature) as Beavisboots mentioned.

Basically...you can select by preference but what you should know...

Is that the higher you go in temp. the less light output your lights will produce.

Yeah they got it covered. I will add that bulbs that high will draw much attention from the wrong people. They also produce a TON of glare for other drivers around you.

Might be a little repetitive:

1. Everyone is right, you can just swap the bulbs to the 10K no mod required. H/L will be fine.
2. They just look like Cool White LED's but i'm not sure.
3. Easiest way I've seen to convert to HID 'parking lights' is to replace the housing all together. You can buy a kit and retrofit it to the bumper, which is your best bet. Then just convert the bulbs to HID.

Couple Links for the 'parking lamp' conversion, enjoy:

Good luck on the headlights. Look forward to seeing the progress!
