Yes I searched, but had a specefic question.
Does anyone know if there is a bulb available for our cars that is around the equivilent of an 04-present maxima? I just love the color (purpleish/blue) and how intense they look coming down the road the other way. I know there are upgrades when i searched, but anything that anyone can speak from experience that will compare? Thanks guys

Sounds like you want the 8500k

Sounds like he wants projectors. Any stock vehicle will come with only DOT approved 4100k-4300k bulbs. The purple/blue huge associated with so many cars (I.e. Maxima, S200, BMW, Acura TSX/TL) is from the shape of the projector and the shield within it.
I'm not sure what all you have read, but to save you some more search time.. don't waste your time with an 8500k bulb. In fact, if it's the color that you're after I would hardly recommend getting anything with a temperature higher than 6000k. Even 6000k on a wet road fails miserably in comparison with a 4100k bulb.

If you really want that look, do a projector conversion
I dont know of anyone on here thats done a retrofit like the maxima headlight, would love to see it though. It depends what your looking for, if you are wanting improved vision then the guys are right, the OEM bulbs have the best output. But if you are looking for a bulb that is a blueish color and dont care too much about losing some vision, than the 8500k is what you want, its very blue.

Anything above 6k gives too much attention to cops, especially in LA.
