Headlight adjustment

I forgot, which way do I turn the vertical adjuster to make the lights aim higher? clockwise or counter clockwise?

Thanks

I think if you twist the screwdriver clockwise the light will dip down, and if you twist counter-clockwise, it will raise the beam. My recollection makes sense if you think of the threads "pushing" or "pulling" the housing as it turns.

Clockwise on the screwdriver is counter-clockwise with a socket/rachet set.

use this as a guide.....and yes i KNOW that the pictures aren't up...however I used this guide myself w/out the pictures and its pretty self explanatory. You'll be able to figure it out once you pop the hood. You'll see above the headlights a marking in the plastic that says like "U <--> D" or something...and its in the direction when you're facing the car. Hope that helps, because our cars headlights come with the lights aimed WAYYYY too low. Not enough distance. Be careful as to mark where the crown is b4 you move it so you have a starting point. Just as a side note, 1" adjustment does a BIG difference. Take the car for a spin after adjusting it and you'll see what I mean. Hope that helps
