Headers and V-AFC installed!!

I have no idea if the V-AFC helps out at all, but I set it to decrease fuel by 1% from 5k-7krpm, and increase by 1% from 3-4500rpm. I also set the VTEC to start 200 rpm earlier. The headers made a noticeable difference. My butt dyno is whack so I wont really know until, I take it to Track/Dyno. I still cant make 1-2nd chirp.

Let us know the results from the track. Do you have baselines from the track or dyno?

Yes I do. Did you gain any torque from the headers?

Definitely strap the car on the dyno to tune the V-AFC.

OK. I was playing around a little bit, and these headers do make a difference. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

im looking into getting a apexi v-afc and was wondering how much you paid for it? also if you plan on getting it tuned on a dyno? is it possible to turn it off and dyno your car with just the other mods and do another run with it on to see how much it helps? also did the pulleys help any?

thanks

I paid $275 for the V-AFC. Somebody was selling it because they got rid of their car. Yesterday, I ran into some issues with the V-AFC. You should definitely let a pro dyno test and tune it. I will eventually take it on the dyno and tune it. With the V-AFC you have the option to move it back to stock. There is a reset feature. Im waiting for my pulleys to come in. They should be installed in about 2 weeks. I dont recommend the Random Tech Cat to anybody. It really killed my low end torque, and I'm going to sell it.

Headers, AEM cai, SSR Rims (very light weight) and I'm sure the springs helped out too. It was 65 degrees out that morning and humidity probably wasn't much of an issue. I know I can run better times because I encountered a bunch of wheel hop. I don't think a 14.1x is out of the question.

Another thing that was very helpful is that I didn't have to wait in line much at all so the car never got really hot due to idling.
