Head Light Bulbs

I tried searching for this, but was un-successful. I am wondering if I can put brighter bulbs in the headlights with everything still being stock. If so, any recommendations? Thanks

Phillips 4300+ HID's are the brightest you will be able to get.....I have these in my CL, and they are crazy bright at night time!
