nothing official, but car sometimes gets stuck in 3rd.....i'll mention something next time I get it taken in.

 

I had my transmission replaced at 15k miles. It seems a lot of people are having problems lately. I keep seeing "transmission" threads popping up quite often.

I have had the p700 code that represents a tranny problem, but since the one time it happened, I haven't had another hiccup...

 

My transmission just died on me last week. It seems like the 2->3 or 3->4 shift is messed up. It wouldn't downshift sometime and it would constantly go into neutral. This was very bad in stop and go traffic. The transmission is backordered and I won't get it for like 5 weeks =(

 

mine was out at ~11500, still waiting for it to be replaced

 

there's gotta be an easier way to do this.

someone open up a new hotmail address or soemthing and have anyone who is getting or had their trannies replaced email their DOM and mileage ONCE.

this way there would be no double counting and a trend could be figured out from the mileage and DOM.

and also any mods included as well as driving style.

I'm stock, except for springs, which wouldn't cause tranny problems.

I dont know if its messing up or if I am seeing all the recent posts and getting woried. I have almost 11k and when it shifts from 3rd sometimes it seems to slip a little. check sig.

I had my transmission change last month and i don't think it is going to last. I had to go back to RickCase because they forgot to put one of the screws that hold the transmission to the engine. This has push me over the edge. I am thinking about getting a 330CI or a M3

well i have 30,000 some miles and my tranny is being replaced by Tustin Acura. the bad news is that the transmissions are on back order (gee, i wonder why) and i probably won't be able to drive my car for another week or two until they get some more in. driving an integra LS auto really sucks!
